Last Updated: October 6, 2026
MarketView Agency ("MarketView," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent insurance agency. We respect your privacy and take seriously the personal information you trust us with when you shop for life insurance and related coverage. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through marketviewagency.com and marketviewinsurance.com (together, the "Website"), our quote tools and coverage calculator, and our calls, text messages, and emails (together, the "Services"); how we use and share it; and the choices you have.
This policy works together with our Terms of Service. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, use our calculator, fill out a form, call or text us, or apply for coverage, you may provide:
- Contact details, such as your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and state.
- Quote and coverage details, such as the type of coverage you want, coverage amount and term length, date of birth or age, sex, height and weight, and tobacco or nicotine use.
- Health information, such as medical conditions, medications, and health history, when needed to compare plans or complete an application.
- Financial and household details, such as income, mortgage balance and years remaining, debts, number of dependents, and whether you own a business.
- Beneficiary and application details, such as beneficiary names and relationships, and other information an insurance carrier requires on its application.
- Information you share in calls, texts, emails, or appointments with our agents.
Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from:
- Public records and data providers, such as recorded mortgage and property information, which may be used to mail or contact homeowners about mortgage protection.
- Insurance carriers, about the status of your application and policy.
- Marketing and lead partners, when you have asked to be contacted about insurance.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, approximate location, and how you interact with our forms. We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 6).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide quotes, compare plans from multiple carriers, and help you choose coverage.
- Help you complete and submit applications, and follow up on underwriting, approval, and policy delivery.
- Contact you by phone, text message, email, and mail about your request, appointments, application, and policy, and, where you have given consent, about other insurance products that may fit your needs.
- Service your policy, including reviews, beneficiary or coverage changes, and renewals.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Website and our Services, including analytics and advertising measurement.
- Prevent fraud, verify identity, and keep records of your communication consents and opt-outs.
- Comply with insurance, consumer protection, and telemarketing laws, and respond to regulators and legal requests.
We use health information only to help you obtain and maintain insurance, and not for any other marketing purpose.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:
With insurance carriers. When you ask for a quote or choose to apply, we share the information needed with the carrier(s) you select so they can quote, underwrite, issue, and service your policy. Carriers use your information under their own privacy notices and may obtain additional information, such as medical, prescription, MIB, and motor vehicle records, as part of underwriting.
With service providers. We use companies that help us run our business, such as website hosting (such as Squarespace and Cloudflare), customer relationship management (CRM) software, phone, dialer, and text-messaging platforms, email providers, e-signature and application platforms, and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us and must keep it confidential.
With agents working with us. Licensed agents who work with or for MarketView Agency may access your information to help you.
For legal reasons. To comply with laws, regulations, court orders, subpoenas, or requests from insurance departments and other government authorities; to protect our rights, safety, or property; or to investigate fraud.
In a business transfer. If MarketView Agency is sold, merged, or transfers its business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
With your consent. In any other case where you direct or permit us to share it.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you.
Insurance privacy laws. As an insurance agency, we follow the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and applicable state insurance privacy laws. We do not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties except as described in this policy and as permitted or required by law.
4. SMS/Mobile Information Sharing Disclosure (A2P Compliance)
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. MarketView Agency collects your mobile number and text-message consent only to send the messages you asked for: quote follow-ups, appointment reminders and policy service updates.
No mobile information will be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.
Text-message consent is collected only through our forms or when you text us first. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. See Section 6 of our Terms of Service for full messaging terms.
5. Your Communication Choices
Text messages: Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
Phone calls: Tell us during any call, or contact us using the details below, and we will add your number to our internal Do Not Call list.
Email: Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us.

We may still contact you about an application or policy you have with us, as permitted by law. Opt-out requests are honored within the time required by law.
6. Cookies, Pixels, and Analytics
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep the Website working, remember your choices, understand how visitors use the Website, and measure and improve our advertising. These may include analytics tools (such as Squarespace Analytics or Google Analytics) and advertising pixels (such as from Google or Meta). We do not include health information or quote answers in information sent to advertising partners.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Website may not work properly without them. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through tools such as aboutads.info and your device's ad settings.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These include encrypted connections on our Website and access limited to people who need the information to help you. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information as long as needed to provide the Services, service your policy, and meet legal, regulatory, licensing, and recordkeeping requirements, including keeping records of communication consents and opt-outs. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your state, you may have rights to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal and recordkeeping exceptions. Information we hold in connection with insurance may be governed by insurance privacy laws rather than general state privacy laws. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity before responding, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Children's Privacy
Our Website and Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Website. Information about a minor, such as a child named as a beneficiary, is collected only from a parent or guardian as part of an insurance application.
